the spirit of giving

i love christmas and i think everyone else does too. apart from getting public holidays, we get gifts!! i know christmas should be the spirit of giving and sadly i didn't do much of that this year but i did receive a lot from the people i work it... and it is always a nice surprise when you just receive a card, a basket of gingerbread men and just some bottles of champagne/alcohol. these are just some of the gifts i got this year. i hope everyone got what they wanted this christmas... happy holidays!

i've always thought flowers were beautiful...but don't expect me to plant any myself nor do i actually really fancy receiving bouquets of flowers (i rather them gifts i can keep) hahaha this morning D & J had to go vote, so i thought i'd take G for a walk in the park next to the voting place and came across these flowers. so preeettyyy...

it takes hands to build a house, hearts to build a home

it definitely took us a while to complete our home and this does not include the pretty accessories we have yet to add into the house. as long as you can sleep, eat, sit and watch TV, it was time to get everyone to warm the house which is what we did over 2 weekends. :D more is always better than less so we had HEAPS and HEAPS of food!



the 1st weekend was a double celebration as it was Alex's birthday. we were so busy laughing, eating and cooking that i completely forgot to take pictures. at least i have 1 of the cake and of Grace & Kei coz they stayed for dinner to help us finish the food. hehehe







the 2nd weekend was D & J's kaki. now this was a huge group.... and being typical malaysians everyone was DAMN late. well at least it gave us time to start cooking and eating first.



so now the house is warmed, everyone filled their tummies,everyone is happy and best of all we've got gifts!!
