not over the long weekend

it's the end of the long weekend.... the night before work begins and i'm not looking forward to it. works been pretty full on and it's exhausting. it's not a bad thing but i wanna keep sleeping in and laze around. well i guess that will just have to wait.

sushi night

the long weekend was to catch up on sleep and just chill so instead of planning any trips, we invited everyone over for sushi night. fresh fish, self-made rolls, tempura and takoyaki all in the comfort of our home. we were very lucky to have chef kei help us cook the dishes and direct us in all our confusion. we had so much food, we split it into two rounds. for our break we caught hilarious old chinese movies. now if only the long weekend was longer....

no cleaning means killer dust bunnies survive

for some reason, it's super dusty here. 2 days and you can see that thin layer of dust slowly building. so since its christmas tomorrow, might as well do the thorough clean so we can enjoy our long weekend dust bunny free; it's funny how G stays as far away from the vacumn cleaner as possible.
