the early birthday dinner...

happy birthday sayang! and yes... every year you will always be two year younger than me. but i stopped counting since twenty five, so technically we're the same age; both twenty five no matter how many candles there are on the cake. *grin* since we play badminton on tuesdays, we celebrated his birthday the sunday before. dinner at pothong thai in newtown. apart from having difficulty find parking in the area, we had pretty good food. they had set up a little balloon arrangement on the table and added fruits & fire sparkles to the birthday cake and even had a small team of waiters sing him happy birthday. they also took pictures for us which they would email to the birthday boy. not bad.... with no extra charge they had really good service. it's just the starting of celebrations!

lady lash!

for lazy people like me, eyelash extensions are amazing! it gives me that extra 2 minutes of sleep in the morning coz when your eyes look great, you don't need much make-up. well for me at least. i didn't really fancy the place i went to do my lashes the last time so i began hunting for other places and came across lady lash! i love it!! previously when i did my lashes, you could always feel it when you squeeze your eyes really tightly. with this one, i can hardly feel it; it's thick enough to look like you've applied mascara and not so overly thick that you feel like you have a fan on your eyes. she even gave me a little card with how to care for your lashes and a little brush to comb it. so sweet.

alex and JD have been telling us about this awesome chicken place call clems at newtown. it's not the kinda place you order and have a sit in dinner, it probably more comfortable to tapau (takeaway) and eat in the comfort of your own home. last weekend, we finally have a chance to try it and ooooooo it was yummy. it wasn't of course only the fact that we were starving since it was almost 10pm but i swear the fried chicken was as good as kfc!!



we had left the order to alex & justin and talk about overkill, plenty of fried chicken, roast chicken, mushrooms and potatoes, egg salad, potato salad and seafood salad. they also gave us a cold sandwich and some extra buns. we had so much leftover that we had it for lunch and still have extras for dinner. oh but it was sooo good so... we are having it again tonight for dinner!! can't wait....^_^
