i could have almost flown home to malaysia on the time i flew to perth. two more hours... and i would have reach kl. over the weekend i was over at perth for a work christmas event. the best part about going to perth was having my girlfriend there to take me around. we headed to fremantle, checked out the view, semi-attended a random person's wedding, laughed at all the unusual things in the market, got distracted really easily and chatted the night away san churros. it's been forever since we caught up one on one and there was just sooooo much to share. i miss moments like this. well there are plans for another trip there with the rest of the girlfriends next year. that should be interesting.

carol & her nonsense together forever
the sole purpose of my trip back was to attend a dear friend's wedding. someone i knew since the start of high school, gone through life as it is and was also my bridesmaid. the couple did an amazing job! i have never attended a more detailed, self-made wedding (if that's the right word). beautiful handmade bouquets made our of cloth and buttons for herself and the bridal party, her own headpiece made of cards and to make the memory more special, our door gifts were childhood snacks. i sent D an image of the snacks and he questioned why i was eating them while attending a wedding dinner > _< apart from the heat which was probably worse coz i fly in from winter, the venue was so beautiful and so them. i still remember when carol first told me about him, she was talking like a seventeen girl crushing on this boy she just met. carol and jules... i sincerely believe that the both of you are meant for each other, i wish you all the happiness in the world and i can't wait to see your babies!!

our night out at verandah bar
photo with my camera FAIL |
it's been a while since i've been out clubbing and probably picked the wrong day to go. not only was i awake at 6am in the morning for a wedding but i only had 2 hours of sleep the night before, konked out after the wedding and was late getting to the club. after queueing for 45 minutes, having a drink or so, we left an hour later to the better part of the night. supper at pancakes on the rocks!! hahaha we probably only club once or twice a year. it's too tiring, i'm getting to old and everyone in the club seem really really young. also, can anyone tell me what happen to all the hot chiqs in the club??
J&G ties the knot!
it was an early morning for me but an even earlier morning for the bride and her party. i was told that one of the bridemaids started her make-up at 4:30am *gasp* i think i went to bed not long before that. the boys were running late so we had some time to chill. some games, some photos and we headed off to the church where the lovely bride and groom exchanged vows, rings and their first kiss as man and wife. back at the car, D noticed his car slanting to one side - we had a flat tire -_- and had to hunt down a place to get it fix. luckily for us, beaurepairs at artarmon slot us in and we made it to the lunch just on time. in fact, we got there the same time as the bridal party and walked in together with them. it was a long and cosy lunch, laughs at the photo booth and fun facts of the bride and groom. J&G - thanks for having us on your big day. i wish you a long and happy marriage with lotsa love, little yous running around and plenty of love to last a lifetime.

sample sale!
the good and bad working in this industry is obvioulsy the clothes. you're always shopping whether it's a sample sale or a new collection in store O_O i really haven't done any outfit posts in a while. it's coz i feel totally chubby and it would show very obviously in pictures. i'm kinda in denial. hopefully since i have a wedding to attend at the end of this month, hopefully it would motivate me to do something about it *fingers crossed*
note to self: don't try to look cool and try shopping with a cup of coffee and 2 phones in your hand!

kevin & chui yen ...
it was an gloomy-ish day.... it drizzled a lil in the morning..... and we were running late coz we got lost. at least me made it in time for the 'i do' *grin* we attended a lovely wedding over the weekend; the bride and groom looked gorgeous and i thought the weather was nice. not too hot, not too cold. at one point, they handed out little plastic wedding cakes which i thought were poppers, until i saw someone breaking open the top. thought to myself "if you break the lid, how are you going to pop it?" and then i realised they were bubble blowers! i wasn't very good at it and seemed like i was spitting at the person next to me -_- dinner at the opera was delish! i normally don't expect much from wedding dinners but wow.. yummies. and to kevin & chui yen, may you have a long happy marriage ahead. welcome to married life!
p/s: oh and why so little pictures from dinner?? my camera ran out of battery *grrrr*
